Man..

You guys have flow, and your sound is half decent. There's a problem though, your hook sounds way too thin.

Also, you have that 1 sound in your beat, right before you do that hook that sounds like you're using the same synth as T-Pain and Flow Rida's "Low". I'd recommend changing up that synth to a slightly different sound because I'm pretty sure most people would associate that sound with that song, but it's your call.

Good

Cool track, although 52 bars seems like a random length. By the way, you forgot to add fap to the end of the rate, comment etc...

InGenius responds:

Not a random length, this beat was originally built with intro, 16 bar verse, 8 bar hook, 4 bar break, 16 verse, 8 hook, outro. Add everything but the intro and outro together: 16+8+4+16+8=52. He used up the whole beat rather than using it in conventional setup. And Mr. What It Do surprised the SHIT out of me with the spit he threw at me. He was jammin' my WIPs and heard this track and just said "This one's all mine. I'm takin' it." Shit, what was I to say but "Have it!" And this is what he threw down. And I left Fap out so Ashley wouldn't get any ideas...

Peace

zajed beat - always a good choice

"Alright guys, this is the lyrical massacre of 2009". Dex dex dex... How are you going to kill a year? lol. Man, you guys have improved - not the rapping, but it didn't take 8 months this time.

Good track as usual, I'm not even going to guess as to what you guys are talking about right now - ask me tomorrow, it's 1 am lol.

HeLLsGaUrDiAn responds:

Ah good old wyze lol, you and your sarcasm is always good to hear. Well the challenge is out there for anyone that wants to take a stab at it and reveal the meaning behind our lyrics ;)

Very cool

I LOVE that line at 37 seconds. Glad to hear you added scratching in this. Nice job with those bells, although they could be a bit louder. It sounds a bit too busy around 1:47 in a few spots: too many lines in the same area of hearing, but it's only in a few small instances.

O God you were right, that ending IS horrible lmao. I understand why you did it that way, but damn. lol. Still, cool track. congrats on top 5 and if you're cool with it I might hop on this to shut Mr Happyslaphappy down there up.

DatBoiNC responds:

I Couldn't find a better way to end this track lol

Holy shit

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this track. My speakers aren't working right now, but knowing you, I'm almost certain you've mixed it well and there's no volume issues. I love that sample, great find. That bell adds a nice touch as well. The new line at 1:53 is really cool, then you break into an almost trance pattern at 2:06 that was very cool.

Amazing job man

flashmac responds:

Why thank you good sir

Ok..

First for the beat, it isn't mixed really well. That "wah" synth/sound overpowered the rest of the beat to the point where it took me 2 minutes to realize that there were strings in this, so that should be fixed.

As for the singing, I want to thank you for not bitching out and using autotune. Way too much R&B lately has been using it, so it's refreshing to hear actual singing.

Vocal levels are fairly decent, I can't tell if they're great or just ok (speaker issue), but I know they aren't a problem. Second rapper is better than the first, although I didn't mind the first one.

Only reason this is getting an 8 is it lacks a special something to make it really memorable. Still, good work, and I will 5 this.

Well

Obviously with my current speaker situation I can't comment on the bass thing, but this sounds really cool. Cool voice sample, who was it from? Great composition in this man. Love that trumpet. My only problem is the transition between verse and hook, it seems to skip a beat there.

InGenius responds:

Appreciate the review even with your current situation regarding speakers. As for the transition, I think it's got to do with the chop on the sample, and I know I need to fix it, but I never got around to it since this was just a simple freestyle track I've been sitting on for a little bit. As for the vocals, the first is Del The Funkee Homosapien, the second vocal is the Beastie Boys. Appreciate the review.

Peace

Sick track

As usual with you, the flow was awesome, sound quality is nothing less than professional. Very cool way of portraying the anti-religion message. Good work, even if it was 5 years ago lol.

WarLab responds:

well thanks, Im glad you liked the song

This is techno?!

Man, apparently I had techno all wrong... Cool track, love the scratches. Great build in this. It slowly builds the anticipation very well. good job gentlemen.

Very nice

Good piano sound. That sounds like it's actually being played. Love the song. Minimalistic, but still not uber depressing or anything lol

Kazmo responds:

Thanks, that's what I was trying to portray, someone actually playing it. :]

Glad you like, and thanks again! :D

This is where I write about myself. But fuck that. Read the news posts, those are better.
