Impressive

Great first submission. Very nice high synth. My one suggestion is to bring your kick into your drum pattern more. You've got great snare and hat placement, but especially near the beginning, it doesn't feel like enough kick. Or I could be missing something, in which case the kick should be a bit louder.

For a first submission, this is amazing. Keep it up.

thanks. i thought the kick should have come in more too but it kept overloadin the cpu on our computer so we made a compromise.

It's good

Very calming sound, but I think there's a bit too much silence at the end of the loop. It doesn't feel like a loop at this point. If it wrapped a bit tighter than this would easily get a 10. Good luck in the contest.

[5 Second Contest Entry]

Pretty cool

Chord seems a bit too drawn out seeing as how the entire loop is only 5 seconds. Maybe shorten that up a bit and lengthen the others all by a 16th? Just a thought.

Thanks for the review :). The drawn out chord was suppose to have a little trumpet solo thingy, but I couldn't figure out how to emulate that.

An interesting take on the challenge. Kind of cool, although it doesn't have a really great repeatability factor (i.e. I wouldn't leave this on loop for a long time). Despite that, I do like the glitch drums. Nice work

LOOP

Not bad, although the low violin not changing tones much (it has 2 notes, 1 of which only being played once) really gets frustrating after the third loop or so. The high violin is nice though

This was good, but clearly it needed more melody and more of a build. Honestly, I don't know how you can just leave it at this lol. Just kidding man, I like this loop, nice oriental feel. Good luck in the contest.

Very cool instrumentation here. However, I'm not really feeling the drums. The snare goes off beat in some places. I know you were likely trying something new there, but in hip hop, you kind of need the snare to be consistent.

Other than that, great work man.
