RAGE

This is a good track man. Really feeling the nerd rage

Luke responds:

ER...

Really, enough said already. ER wins

HDC responds:

Cool story bro

Fat Beats

Honestly, I think Fat Beat's biggest issue is that the whole grime style really hasn't seen the light of day in North America. I thought he was dope.

Fat Beats takes the win.

Dope

Nice verse. I think you mixed it a bit more quiet than my verse, but other than that I have no criticism

Luke responds:

Yeah, my speakers are a bit messed up though - I didn't wanna make it too loud, and not too quiet. It's difficult to do on my end, hopefully I can get a laptop and new speakers strictly for music within the next month or two.

Lol @ kid below me

Either that's an alt, nik has a hater or blest's fans are hardcore online lol.

I'm giving this to blest: Here's the breakdown

Delivery: 10-9 Moogi
This may be in part because of the mic issue, but blest's delivery is pretty monotone.

Flow: 9.5 - 9 moogi.
This one's close. Only reason I give moogi the slight edge is because his flow is slightly more aggressive.

Round 1:
Best line of the round is Blest's Tesla line. Moogi's "feel blest" shit was interesting, but you didn't angle it like a diss, which I think hurt him because that angle had the potential to do a LOT of damage. Blests bottomless feeder flip didn't really hit at all. Van Goh line was hot though.

10-8 Blest

Round 2:
Dictionary.com line was delivered really well, but I feel like going after a dude for using a large vocabulary is kind of a weak strike. The Benz line wasn't really an insult. I mean, ya, owned by his parents is funny and all, but let's be real, saying "your family has money" isn't really a big diss. also, pause after cadence's was cool, toe tag line was all right. Good ending though for moogi

I like the rhyme scheme blest starts with. I get the christianity diss, but I feel like it hits a bit weak. Poverty line was all right, but not amazing. I feel like if you're going to bring this up, you should rub it in more.

Not the strongest round by either, but I'd score it 8 - 8

So, 37-36.5 Blest.

Damn

Mao stepped the fuck up here. I'm proud of you dude. You went crazy on here. I REALLY hope this is a breakthrough track for you.

Phrozen, your flow is still solid, but god damn it man, can you PLEASE get a decent mic already? I swear, you could probably get better quality from a gamer headset.

Vote: Mickey

Let's be honest.

This was wack as hell. However, the vote goes to Mickey because Klazik was totally trying to jock Mickey's style on this.

Bonus points to both of you for trying to take shots at me. You know your audience well. Taking shots at me never hurts :P

HDC responds:

YEA GIRL! Poor wyze...

Quick comment

@ExtraordinaryTerrest
"And to those pissed that I ain't use personals to beast this
It's because even he don't know who the fuck this freak is"

All I really have to say on the matter of personals. Not arguing with your opinion at all, but I did address the personals issue.

HDC responds:

Response for the sake of a response here

This shit's hot.

Great track gentlemen. This song is hype as hell.

"WHATS GOOD, No whats great
thats what I say to fat chicks when I jizz in their face
now get the fuck out my cage and leave my place with haste
before I shit on my fist and give your fat ass a taste"

Those 4 bars had me laughing pretty good. Keep up, and hit me up if you guys are down for a collab

ExtraordinaryTerrest responds:

Thanks man, glad you liked it!

And it's good to know you're down for collabs!

Speaking only as a producer

I'm not going to comment on any votes or anything for the battle. Everyone's entitled to their votes, hell, that's the point of it. Just wanted to respond to a couple of the comments on the beat.

@Emceewhat: The reason the mixing seems so out of wack is that this track was compressed and limited several times during the course of the battle. The version on my website is somewhat better for the mixing, although you might find the synths to still be loud compared to normal.

@ERE: Thanks for the comments man. Always glad to hear about fans of my production. As far as this beat is concerned, I made it as a deliberate attempt to switch my style up so it wasn't getting stale. I kept coming back to the same ideas for 3 or 4 attempts to make a beat in a row, so I had to make something completely different to refresh myself. Look forward to more of that cool new northwest sound you're used to hearing from me.

Hope everyone enjoys this, it was fun.

This is where I write about myself. But fuck that. Read the news posts, those are better.
