More from the last hope

I picture this as the calm before the storm, the lotus petal slowly starts spinning around, and begins to open. It's all very serene. Then, the darkness begins to surround, and immediately after this song WF1 bursts forth and kicks some major ass!

Back to the song though, very nice. My only suggestion is to add a rainstick during the calmer parts.

wyldfyre1 responds:

Hmm a rain stick.. interseting concept!

Very nice

Very smooth feel to this. I love those bells, great work on them. Vocoder is actually pretty cool, I don't usually hear that done well so that's a plus. The bass is also great (listened on my brother's computer to get the full effect)

Those are all great, but they pale in comparison to that lead synth. That thing is so freaking sexy lol.

If you decide not to use this track, I'd love to hop on it man.

InGenius responds:

Do it to it, this one is goin' to my boy from the LBC. He doesn't record anymore, been retired for a whole minute and was gettin' nostalgic so I told him I'd drop three WC beats on him. Use it if you wanna. Appreciate the time.

Peace

BOMBS AWAY

lol.

Small problem here, hats are completely drowning out your claps, making the whole things sound like a giant break.

Cool arp though, like the sound. Keep it up!

Kannon1 responds:

You know I was thining that too but I wasn't quite sure. Thanks WYZE ONE, I'll do some adjustments when I get some time off. YEAH!!!

Dude

Okay, I'm aware that you're not serious. But the thing about a joke is it's supposed to be funny. Therefore, you have failed.

RizzyFizzy responds:

hey yours arent to good either.

Here's what it is

All right, you aren't listening. Your flow is still off and you're rushing tracks out. So here's how we'll do this: 1 round, 1 track. Take your time to do this, you have to wait at least a week before releasing your track to force you to take your time. Are you down?

Hopefully this motivates you to start actually working on doing something decent rather than rushing out half-assed diss tracks.

Broken-Needle responds:

Does that mean I'll see a diss track from you in a week=D?

Very cool

It may be my speakers, but it seems like the bass line and drums are too far in front, even for drum and bass. As I said though, it may be my speakers.

Beyond that, this is very cool. Good work

LK412 responds:

No its probably because of me. I dont know what you mean though, about it being in front.

Thanks a lot tho, i really appreciate the review.

....

Don't talk son less you move south
Son livin it up thinkin you rough

Dude, you dissing the north here? I'd recommend looking up your stats before you speak. MANY Canadian cities have a higher crime rate than NYC.

You're relapsing on your flow again, it's back to horrible. remember what I told you about slowing down and making quality over quantity?

Broken-Needle responds:

bro, dont worry I'm about 2 re-record read the first reviews response.... and no im not talking about canada, Madwigged says hes from new york state and therefore he's tougher than me, however he's from UPstate which is filled with looser potheads...

review

I'll start with the negative, then I'll get into the positive, then I'll finish it with my pizza order

Cons:

That line at 1:37 didn't work. Ok, maybe not the line itself, but the synth you chose didn't sound right to me at all.

Snares seem a bit too spread apart, but that may be the speed involved here, what bpm is this at?

The line that begins at 3:09 is ok, but in the high parts of your melody there, that synth seems to be going outside it's comfort range

I think your hi hat could have used either a longer or shorter release, I don't think it's working great as it is. Either a crisp closed sound or a longer open fallout would have worked wonders there.

Pros:

LOVED the snare rolls. Sounded awesome

The techno beginning with the hip hop drums isn't normally done very well, but you pulled it off well

The synth at 1 minute is done really well.

Overall:

Not bad, but I'd still say it's a bit more techno than hip hop. All the same, cool track and congratulations on #1.

Also, I'll have a medium pepperoni pizza and a bottle of coke. It's my understanding that it is 30 minutes or it's free?

zenodio responds:

The king of the Hip Hop on NG reviewed my song =D

Thank you very much, and about that with the BPM... Can't really remember, it's around 90 - 110

Again, thank you.
You're a great source of inspiration, haven't heard much of your stuff, but the few songs i've heard was decent!

Sorry, but i don't really know what more to say.

ok?

second get ya virginity
literaly off of ma shoes

So you're saying he hasn't fucked your shoes. What is with that line? When your quality is off (not something you can be blamed for) and your flow still needs work (something you can be blamed for, although in all fairness, you have been improving.), then your lyrics all need to be great. These weren't great, some of them didn't even make sense.

I understand you're trying to do a diss a day, but quality over quantity man. Keep at it, but take your time

Broken-Needle responds:

ma foots up his bootleg ass.

NO MORE!!

Lmao. Hilarious. Great job Sunrie.

wyldfyre1 responds:

woo hoo

This is where I write about myself. But fuck that. Read the news posts, those are better.
