I'm honestly surprised this works so well. The piano part doesn't even come close to matching the drum's intensity, but it sounds so good because of it. I loved the choral backing you have in this. One thing, please don't end with that clap lol.

Kickass beat, if way too far on the short side. I like the ethnic feel this one has. It build really well with that bass line, but then it kind of drops off. I understand what you're going for there, but I think it would be awesome if you kept building with that bass.

Amazing feel. My only issue is that I think the drums are a bit too loud. I love that synth line that comes in around 1:10

Nice and smooth. I think the trombones (I think they're trombones) need to be mixed in a bit more. Also, this is a bit heavy on the crash. Still, good job.

Interesting sample choice, that's for sure. Sounds a lot different than most hip hop out right now. Props for the Jigga sample as well. At least, I think it was Jigga...

A bit too repetitive for my liking

It's a cool sound but there needs to be more in there. I like what you did at 2:27 but it was too late. An then from about 3:15 on you completely changed it. That would be cool but you need to be sure to keep a constant feel going through the change. Although I do like the backing line in that segment.

Whenever I make a beat, I imagine a movie in my mind. The Up part is from the start of the song to about when it changes. Imagine flying out of a tunnel or cage and you can see the light. Thats how I saw it. The Out is when the song changed and now Im free to do whatever in the world. Its just how I make my music. I hear and see the music. Thanks for the score though. At least you listened to it. LOL YEAH!!!

Pretty cool

Nice sound at the start there, good and creepy. I also like how you phase in those synths or whatever they are. Although I think if you want to win this thing you're going to need to find a way to elevate this even more. This is good, but you're likely going to be up against some awesome stuff.

i know. i need to build it up even more, but it just wasn't coming to me. i plan on working hard on this. just wanted to know if i even had a solid base on which to build on. i plan on doing more with an "organized chaos" d'n'b drum line in there, and some fx if possible, and an aggressive synth. just wanted to see if i was heading in the right direction. thanks so much for the listen and review!!!!

Bass level is up too high

Try to lower that a bit. Other than that, this is pretty cool, I like the piano or whatever else that is.

I noticed there wasn't enough treble, but again my speakers suck so I can't really tell if it's too loud or not. This is all done on guitar with some delay and chorus effect with a lot of reverb.
